The Sanad project falls within the objectives of the Ufuq Association to expand the provision of support and assistance to the needy and affected in the Middle East region. This project aims to extend a helping hand and alleviate the suffering of families in northern Syria by providing a safe practical solution that guarantees them a decent life, through the construction of complete, safe and comfortable housing units. Instead of the tents in which the tragedy of the Syrians is repeated every year.
In this project, a scientific study is carried out for the most suitable sites for building housing units to ensure the construction of homes capable of withstanding the harsh climatic conditions in northern Syria, including extreme temperatures, high winds, rain and snow.
The homes built under the Sanad project are designed to meet the basic needs of residents, including access to clean water, sanitation facilities and electricity.
